To be myself is all I wish

that's all I wish to be

Just to be the best of me

the best that I can be

I have no wish to be a star

Or soar in outer space

I've no desire to travel far

to some exotic place

What need have I to criticize

the "who" in "you" I see?

I only wish to be my best

The best "me" I can be!
